Lenovo K8 Note (Venom Black, 4GB) Review
Hello friends. Thank you for your love. I am writing this Lenovo K8 Note (Venom Black, 4GB) Review on the basis of my experience. If you’re thinking to get this phone. You need to read this article before that. Let’s start. Front and rear camera normal mode quality are good but in depth enabled mode its struggle Little bit.
You can easily able to see is that subject is also affected by background blur. The rare dual camera feature pulled you to buy this phone. At First I thought to buy Nokia 6 because I am looking for some great camera quality in my price range.I have changed my mind to the Killer Note.
Performance of Lenovo K8 Note is really good. I was skeptical about the performance of the MediaTek Helio X23 processor. But I don’t find any issues related to the performance of this device. I play Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5, Critical-Ops and a few more games with high graphics settings and phone can handle easily with no lags & issues.
Battery performance – 1 to 1.5 days easily. I’m getting 4 to 6 hours of screen on time in moderate to heavy use. You can play High graphics offline games for 5 to 6 hours and in online games 3:30 to 4 Hours with full charge. Battery temp is under 40C in High graphics, games and no heating while watching videos or web browsing.
The display quality is bright and vibrant – No issues in outdoor condition.
Music Key – You can also able to use this key for Camera, Screenshot and more.
Dedicated slot for micro SD card.
The Fingerprint sensor is accurate and fast.
Stock Android – Lenovo already confirmed Android Oreo update for K8 Note.

Pros and Cons of Lenovo K8 Note
Battery backup close to 2 days approximately including idle time, internet and call usage. So rest assured, you are in good hands. I have attached a screenshot of my battery usage.
Note: Keep your mobile charge for at least 8 hours before the first time use.
Turbo charge great as expected. So yes, it gives your cell more time in hand.
Camera HDR feature really capture detailed images. Front camera with flash is a nice feature.
This phone works with 4G, 3G and 2G speeds.
Dual separate Nano Sim slot and additionally it has a separate memory card slot for external storage. You will never run out of storage issues.
Fingerprint sensor response time is very faster and you can use the same for taking photos. Additionally, you can use it as an App lock for unlocking important apps. But you have to install a separate app from play store.
- Call management is really difficult, need to download apps from a play store for setting call waiting and etc.
- Voice recorder needs to be downloaded separately.
Hardware is really awesome, but the software needs lots of customization.
Just Double Tap to awake the phone and you can see the time and date without unlocking it.
- Press the Volume key and click on the Bell symbol to put your phone on vibrate and silent.
There should be some shortcut has to be provided for this
The design of this phone is an absolute killer
Cast screen option is only supported by chrome cast device. So you cannot share anything with smart TV without this casting device.
However, you can play YouTube videos from phone to Smart TV with inbuilt YouTube application which comes to casting.
Overall, it’s a good phone and worthy of the money you pay, because it has lots customizations needed to be done and have to download apps for basic things. Hope you like my review.
